These scholarships provide financial support to Canadian youth with disabilities looking to complete a 1- to 4- year post-secondary program. Funding of up to $40,000 is available.

Applications for the 2023-24 school year are now open until May 31st, 2024. Up to 3 scholarships are available this year.

The Educational Facility Managers Association of British Columbia is pleased to offer five $1,000.00 bursaries to graduates of the 2023/2024 school year. Our association is comprised of administrative and management personnel of school districts who are responsible for construction, maintenance and custodial services, etc.
These bursaries are offered to secondary students completing their grade 12 year who will enter a recognized post-secondary educational institution in the 2024/2025 term.  Bursaries will be awarded on the basis of academic achievement and/or special needs.
Preference will be given to students entering the fields of engineering, architecture, or building technology.  Should there not be suitable applications received in these fields, students in other courses of study will be considered, however, all applicants MUST be dependents of school district employees in the school facilities area (i.e. Maintenance or Custodial).

Information on the Bursary:

• The student has  or will have  completed Chemistry 12 by the end of June 2024
• The student can demonstrate plans to continue the study of chemistry, or studies related to Chemistry, at a recognized post-secondary institution
• The student must have performed service for their school and/or community while maintaining grades in science that are necessary in a post-secondary education
• The student must also include a letter of reference from a teacher. Note that this letter must state their GPA for Grade 11 and their cumulative GPA to date in Grade 12

TELUS Student Bursaries are awarded annually to more than 400 students who are experiencing critical financial need and are committed to making a difference in their communities.

About the BursaryThe TELUS Student Bursary provides financial assistance to deserving young people across the country who are committed to giving back in their local communities by taking on a social impact project. 
Recipients receive a bursary valued at $3,000 (college) or $5,000 (university) to put toward tuition fees at post-secondary institutions in Canada.
Who is eligible to apply: 

• Youth between the ages of 17 and 29 in critical financial need 
• Accepted into, or attending, a first undergraduate degree or diploma program at a college, university or polytechnic institute in Canada
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
• Commitment to delivering a social impact initiative during the course of their studies that will have a positive social or environmental impact in their community.

Bursaries for the 2024-2025 Academic Year
Students can apply for a TELUS Student Bursary online via Scholarship Partners Canada from March 25 until April 24, 2024.
Please note: Past TELUS Student Bursary recipients can re-apply for a bursary for the current year as long as they still meet all eligibility criteria and they can demonstrate progress on their social impact commitment. Bursaries are not automatically renewable and financial need will remain the priority criteria.

This scholarship of $1,500.00 is awarded annually in recognition of Robert T. Reynolds’ exemplary service. Certain factors have a major bearing on an applicant’s success, such as their participation in extracurricular activities, community volunteerism and school activities.

Eligibility Any Grade 12 student residing in, and attending school in Delta, who is advancing to postsecondary education. Relatives of DHCH Foundation staff or Board of Directors are ineligible.

This scholarship of $1,500.00 is awarded annually to a deserving student pursuing post secondary education that has, through their actions, shown a caring and compassionate nature and actively serves the community.
Certain factors have a major bearing on an applicant’s success, such as participation in extracurricular activities, engagement as a volunteer and demonstrated leadership capacity.

Eligibility Any Grade 12 student residing in, and attending school in Delta, who is advancing to postsecondary education to pursue a career in healthcare or philanthropy may apply. Relatives of DHCH Foundation staff or Board of Directors are ineligible.
