The University of British Columbia is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive community that supports post-secondary participation. With that goal in mind, we are in the process of creating a number of new Centennial Scholars Entrance Awards (CSEA) to provide upward of $40,000+ to fund studies for Black Canadian students. The funding will be distributed over four years and support participation in our direct-entry degrees across both UBC campuses.

If a student identifies as a Black Canadian and wishes to be considered for these awards, they simply need to note that in "Description of Circumstances" section of the CSEA application. Additional award details, including a link to the application, are available online. The deadline for CSEA applications is December 1, 2020.
