The Betty Spalton Scholarship Program, sponsored by the BC Road Builders & Heavy Construction Association, awards scholarships to individuals obtaining education in fields associated with road building & heavy construction.
Up to 2, $1500 scholarships will be awarded in BC Application must be received by May 31 www.roadbuilders.bc.ca

The Indo-Canadian Business Association of BC (I-CBA BC) Student awards support outstanding students as they further pursue their academic endeavours within a Canadian post-secondary institution. The vision of the awards program is to invest in and develop strong leaders who demonstrate academic excellence, community involvement, moral force of character, instincts to lead, and a commitment to intellectual and personal development.

$2500 Our Standing Tall Awards support youth who have faced adversity and not only risen up against the odds, but are demonstrating a commitment to continue their education. This includes, but is not limited to: poverty, health, family issues, personal loss and lack of supports ie. youth who are or who have been in government care. Each school in Delta can nominate one student. If you are interested in being nominated for this award, you must submit to the Career Centre a letter detailing how you meet the criteria. Deadline to submit letter: April 21 This scholarship of $1000 is awarded annually in recognition of Robert T. Reynold's exemplary service. It is open to all Grade 12 students who reside in Delta and who intend to undertake post secondary education in any field. Preference will be given to those students pursuing a career in healthcare.
