Bursary
Value: $1000 (20) for F/T and $500 (4) for P/T
Eligibility:
Must be a member in good standing of HSA or be the child (aged 25 or younger) of an HSA member, who is continuing or proceeding to a full-time program of studies in any field leading to a recognized degree or diploma at any public post-secondary educational institution. Preference is given to studies undertaken in a BC institution. This is a competition, and the Education Committee ranks applications based on financial need, the personal statement, and an essay about unions.

Aboriginal Bursary
Value: $1000 (2)
Eligibility:
Aboriginal students from BC who are continuing or proceeding in any HSA-related field leading to a recognized certification, degree or diploma at a public college, university or other post-secondary educational institution. Preference is given to studies undertaken at a BC institution. Will be awarded based on financial need, personal statement, special circumstances and commitment to pursue education in an HSA-related field.
