Students can apply for the Douglas College Entrance Awards on-line between February 1, 2016 and April 1, 2016.
The Fairfax Financial Holdings Limited Entrance Awards, offered to students for whom the cost of pursuing a post-secondary education would be a serious impediment, still requires a paper application form with a detailed budget. Each candidate for an entrance award is required to submit:
•a completed application form
*an online form for Douglas College Entrance Awards and/or
*paper application if applying for the Fairfax Financial Holdings
Limited Entrance Awards
•an official transcript showing final marks for Grade 11 and interim marks for Grade 12,
•Evidence of community and/or school involvement. Students can list their activities with dates in the appropriate section of the online application or the Scholarship Volunteer Activity Form (attached) can be completed.
•Letters of reference
All documents must be received at the Douglas College Financial Aid office, room 2740 at the New Westminster campus or Room A1030 at the Coquitlam campus by April 8, 2016.
