SFU, Gordon Diewert Community Service Entrance Award

Amount Awarded: $1000Description:The Gordon Diewert Community Service Entrance Award is granted to a student entering the first year of University directly from a BC Secondary School. The student must demonstrate that they took an active leadership role in their Dry Grad activities associated with the prevention of drinking and driving. Preference will be given to a student that has been accepted into a Kinesiology or Biomedical Physiology major in the Department of Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology at Simon Fraser University. To be eligible, regular secondary school applicants must have a minimum admissions average of 80% for the Faculty they have applied to (not rounded up) and IB diploma applicants must have the IB diploma score required for admission.
Entrance Award and Bursary Applicants coming from a BC/Yukon regular secondary school must self-report their grades by the deadline date.
